Course Formats

Three types of delivery - choose the one to suit you:

Classroom: We run scheduled 4 day courses in the US, UK, Germany and The Netherlands – including course manual and use of a PC to carry out labs and exercises.

Online: Most of our courses are available online to follow at your own pace and at a time to suit you. You will have an assigned tutor/mentor with whom you can interact by email or directly online. Learn more about our online training package and how it works.

Live Distance Learning: Through our training partners SQLSoft+ (in Seattle), you can join a class remotely from almost anywhere with a broadband connection (9am to 5 pm Pacific Time only).

AD FS 2.0 Accelerated (2 days) (A527)

Class Descriptor
This course (course number A527) is intended for Windows IT professionals who want to become quickly acquainted with Active Directory Federation Services 2.0 (AD FS); it is based on the Microsoft's course 50412. The full 50412 documentation is provided to all students, and while this accelerated version covers the use of AD FS in detail, minimal time is spent on topics such as pre-requisites and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and a number of the labs are omitted.

Active Directory Federation Services 2.0 (4 days) (50412)

This course is intended for Windows IT professionals who want to become Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) enterprise administrators and move into the role of designing AD FS environments. The course focuses on terminology, user interfaces, and common configuration scenarios for AD FS 2.0. Students learn how to design AD FS environments and supporting technology such as a Public Key Infrastructure, including ADFS for security and high availability.

This is a must for anyone deploying ADAM, but is also highly desirable to complete the skills set of even the most hardened Active Directory professionals.
