The start of 2012 saw an exciting move to new premises for Oxford Computer Group’s (OCG) UK operation. The relocation to the attractive courtyard development at Park Farm Business Centre in Middleton Stoney, Oxfordshire, is a strategic one designed to provide the growing consultancy with much needed additional space.
Rising demand for its identity and security training courses, workshops and seminars, and an increasing need to accommodate the organisation’s expanding team has lead OCG to make a significant upgrade in its premises. The beautiful barn conversion, which is three times the size of OCG’s previous space, will provide an attractive environment for OCG’s staff and visitors to work in.
The new office is conveniently located within easy access of junction 10 of the M40, the A34 and the main line rail service at Bicester. Having an easily accessible base in Oxforshire is a real advantage to the company, as Neil Coughlan, Director, explains, “Our UK operation has been steadily expanding, as has the reputation of our training courses. It is therefore essential that we have a high-quality and comfortable environment that customers and staff can easily get to.”
With two dedicated, on-site training rooms, OCG is now comfortably positioned to increase the number of courses it runs to meet current demand. Neil Coughlan adds, “We have an extensive and ever-growing portfolio of training courses and workshops and now we have more space and first-class facilities in which to host and facilitate training and customer brainstorming sessions.”
The additional space also provides OCG with much needed room to accommodate the organisation’s consultancy team. Whilst the consultants spend the majority of their time at client sites, the organisation recognises the importance of bringing the team together to share their experiences and skills, and to develop the company’s portfolio of tools and intellectual property.
Neil Coughlan comments, “We have one of the largest, most highly skilled and experienced consultancy teams in the identity arena, so it’s essential that we facilitate knowledge sharing between our consultants. This was certainly one of the main drivers in our decision to upgrade our office space. We now have a fantastic environment that will comfortably accommodate everyone and will enable us to regularly bring the team together.”
