OCG European Identity and Access Summit 2011

"Microsoft Identity and Access On-Premise and in the Cloud with FIM 2010 and AD FS 2.0"

In partnership with Microsoft and complementary technology partners, Oxford Computer Group (OCG) is again hosting the European Summit for Microsoft Identity and Access. This year the theme is "Managing Identity and Access on-premise and in the Cloud" with a focus on Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) 2010, complementary technologies, including access and authorization with AD FS 2.0.

We'll be exploring how FIM 2010 has matured since its launch 18 months ago and how organizations are putting FIM to use, investigating many real-world scenarios and current business challenges. We'll also be looking at Cloud computing and how FIM 2010 and AD FS 2.0 support the management of users and the simplification of access as they move to Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Office 365. Microsoft will also share with us their Identity and Access Management direction and roadmap for FIM 2010 R2.

With changes in the marketplace and the increasing popularity of Microsoft Identity and Access solutions we are seeing more projects where FIM is augmenting or replacing a previous platform. With that in mind we have a session on how to plan for these situations, discussing the challenges involved and approaches for migrating to FIM.

For day two we'll be taking a closer look at the growing requirements for Governance Risk and Compliance, including approaches and solutions for reporting with FIM 2010 and the various ways of managing user entitlements. Day two will conclude with a Q&A session where you can put your questions to Microsoft and a panel of industry experts.
