Our Approach
Our approach to projects is normally based on the OCG Identity Methodology. This has been developed over many implementations and includes the process, documentation and design templates required to deploy a successful Identity & Access management solution in a timely manner.
The implementation methodology from OCG provides a flexible, scalable, robust framework for implementation projects which helps ensure that deadlines are met, risks are managed, and surprises are few. Developed in conjunction with Microsoft’s MIIS product team, and optimised from OCG’s experience implementing and teaching, the methodology is a toolkit that includes detailed project plans, boilerplate documents and flow diagrams, best practice guides, and workshop templates.
Using the methodology, the project team’s activities are guided so that the correct information is gathered, the solution is designed, and decisions are made in the right timescales. Testing and user acceptance milestones are fundamental elements of the methodology, along with formal risk and issue management techniques. The methodology reflects project management best practices.
